NBA rant ahead
A quarter and a half to go and I’m already working the trade machine…
Space Cadet, LO and Farmar for McDyess, Amir and Prince
Bynum could make up for LO’s rebounding and I think every Laker fan in the planet right now wants to dump Rad man. Missing Farmar hurts because he’ll likely be a very good starting PG in the future but otherwise I don’t think Detroit does the deal.
McDyess would give us a legit big man off the bench (Turiaf is a great cheerleader not so much as a rebounder). Amir’s got a ton of upside and could give a productive 10-15 min a game. Prince didn’t exactly shine in the Boston series (read:choke) but he plays off the ball well (which is key when you’re on the same team as Kobe) and is a defensive upgrade at the 3 spot.
